engorgement
There are two types of engorgement; physiological and pathological.
Physiological engorgement happens between days 2 and 6 post partum.
Pathological engorgement can happen any time after that.
It is described as enlarged, swollen and painful breasts.

blocked ducts
These are incredibly common and can be tender. Blocked ducts are caused by an oversupply of milk and as a result there is increased pressure causing inflammation.

Ultrasound Therapy
Ultrasound is used to treat inflammation by breaking up inflammation within the tissue and providing immediate relief.
